The BYD Battery-Box Premium HVM 22.1 is a modular IP55 rated LiFePo4 High Voltage battery system that can be scaled up to meet your energy needs.
Each Battery-Box Premium HVM is composed of 3 to 8 HVM battery modules that are connected in series to achieve a usable capacity of 8.3 to 22.1 kWh. By directly connecting up to three identical Battery-Box Premium HVMs in parallel, you can achieve a maximum capacity of 66.2 kWh. And if you need even more storage capacity, you can easily scale up by adding more HVM modules or parallel HVM stacks later.
This package includes 8 battery modules and a battery control unit (BCU) with a base. Save $$$ on component pricing!
Fronius customers please note:
This 22.1kWh stack is only suitable for Fronius Gen 24 SYMO 3 phase inverters. It is not suitable for Single phase Primo inverters due to overvoltage at full charge state; For Primo inverters max capacity of 19.3kWh HVM to be specified and available here.

When combined with the Fronius SYMO GEN24 Plus hybrid inverter, the BYD Battery-Box Premium HVM 22.1 delivers high charging and discharging power, allowing you to optimally use and store the energy produced by your own PV system. This power remains available even when the sun is no longer shining, ensuring an increased rate of self-consumption and greater independence from the public grid.
The BYD HVM battery system is ideal for smaller commercial plants that require high storage capacities. You can implement up to three battery storage systems in parallel operation for even greater storage capacity. With Fronius Solar.web, you can easily monitor both Fronius inverters and BYD battery storage systems (HVS/HVM) at any time for an overview of all the relevant data.
BYD HVM is also compatible with other High Voltage Hybrid Inverter brands to suit varying capacities.
