SOFAR BTS 5K Battery Base Kit - for Powerall and DTS systems.

SOFAR BTS 5K Base Kit is a component required for the expansion of the SOFAR BTS energy storage system. 

Assembling a battery consisting of 4 or more Sofar BTS battery modules arranged in one stack is not recommended.
For example, in the case of a 20 kW set the arrangement is to be 2+2: two battery modules on a base with the Powerall ESI PDU or BDU + two battery modules on another base.

Please note: Additional Base kits are currently only available with an order of BTS battery modules. Please contact us if requiring the base kit only.  

This Base Kit Includes:

• 2 x 2.7m extended power cables
  
• 1 x communication cable
  
• 1 x base plate

Important Reminder:

To ensure long-term system stability and high performance, we recommend stacking a maximum of three BTS 5K battery modules per tower.
For example: If you're expanding your SOFAR BTS energy storage system to 20kWh capacity using 4 modules, divide the setup into two towers; Building a single tower with four batteries is not recommended as it introduces a potential safety hazard for installers and also likely to elevate the PDU display screen above viewing height.
For proper installation, place two modules on a base with a PDU or BDU head unit (depending on your system) with the other two on a separate base.

This side by side configuration is more than just a recommendation - it also enhances system reliability and supports continuous operation. If one stack fails or disconnects, the other can continue to supply power, thanks to the parallel battery input on the head unit. it's helping prevent downtime and protect your energy supply.

Splitting your setup into two towers ensures balanced performance and redundancy along with safe installation and operation. 

Note: This extension base includes only the connectors and mounting components. The PDU/BDU head unit is not included and must be sourced separately. Designed exclusively for BTS 5K battery stacks.
